Making a decision to seek professional therapeutic support is a very personal experience.  It takes strength and courage to willingly engage in personal growth, and it is important to find a therapist that can meet your needs.  I believe that the foundation of psychotherapy is in the strength of the therapeutic relationship.  This begins with providing a safe, comfortable environment centered around respect and support.

I work to empower my clients through strength-based approaches that help to encourage change.  I believe in the power of the collaborative process, meaning working together to overcome hurdles that have been holding individuals back from making changes.

I graduated with a BS in Psychology from West Chester University in 2006 and received my MS in Counseling Psychology in 2012.  I became a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in 2015 and with this experience, developed a passion for working with all aspects of the individual.  I specialize in various types mental health issues including substance use disorders. depression, anxiety, PTSD, and various personality disorders, as well as clinical and support services for families.

My approach is based off of my background in various theoretical frameworks including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Individual Psychology, Interpersonal therapy, Motivational Interviewing and family systems.  I have experience working with diverse populations in different settings, including both inpatient and outpatient facilities in the central and greater Philadelphia area.  In addition to working at Bloomgarden Ostroff and Associates, I also work with professionals who struggle with drug and alcohol use disorders in an outpatient setting.  I look forward to working with you!
