Addressing our own personal challenges is not easy but the growth that can result is often worth the effort. We all deserve to experience our fullest potential and I want to help you discover and realize this within yourself and in your life. Whether you are struggling with depression or anxiety, working through past trauma, adjusting to a life transition, or grieving a loss, there is hope and help. Through building a collaborative and trusting relationship, I’ll help you to build insight, work through barriers, identify your inner strengths, and move forward towards the goals that are meaningful to you. In addition to being a Licensed Professional Counselor I am also a Board Certified Art Therapist. This specialized training allows me to assist you, when appropriate, with further exploration of your inner experience through a creative process.

My therapeutic framework draws upon a variety of approaches including Psychodynamic Therapy, Attachment Theory, Mindfulness, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I received my Master’s Degree in Counseling and Creative Arts in Therapy from Drexel University in 2005 and have worked in the field of behavioral health for over 15 years working in a variety of settings  providing both group and individual counseling.
