Emma Gabriner

Our past experiences impact the present moment and inform our expression of feelings, thoughts, and behaviors. Structuring therapy through a holistic model that centers the client as the expert of their own life, I work with a variety of issues including, trauma, anxiety, depression, extreme states of consciousness, grief and loss, life transitions, addiction, gender and sexual identity.

I practice therapy from a psychodynamic and relationally focused lens, using a social justice and feminist framework. I received my Master’s Degree in 2015 from the Smith College School of Social Work in Massachusetts. I am a clinically licensed social worker in the state of Pennsylvania, have been working in the mental health field for 7 years, and I am certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
