Although we all have some differences in the way we work, in general you will find that we are therapists who are not going to be completely silent and just offer knowing nods and mmm-hhmms: We will interact, answer questions, give feedback, teach you coping strategies, and be responsive to helping you get what you need out of therapy. We will make sure that you feel empowered in the therapy process – it is your therapy to get what you need out of it.
We believe that the present is informed by past experiences. However, we also focus on how you can make positive changes in the here-and-now. We will help you find coping strategies for stressful life circumstances while becoming unstuck from past events so you can bring your full, best self into the present day.

We are committed to growing as mental health providers, and we are continually working at providing a space that is affirming for clients and therapists alike.
Along those lines, the practice is intentional about being in community with Black, Indigenous, People Of Color (BIPOC), and we stand up in solidarity for racial justice and equality.
