I utilize an eclectic approach to therapy. My focus is to be client-centered and strength based to create a space that is safe and non-judgmental to serve as a vehicle for growth and change. I strive to empower my clients by helping one recognize the already internal resources you possess and then transferring these strengths to be used in overcoming obstacles. Together we will find new ways of coping better with life’s challenges, allowing you to be more present, and to be yourself. I believe the therapy process is a relationship based on trust and working collaboratively towards self-exploration, healing, and positive change. I value nourishing both body and mind, as this tends to the whole person and gives the opportunity to work creatively in sessions.

Committing to therapy is courageous and hard work which is why I like to use a variety of approaches to meet the needs of my clients. I am skilled in areas of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Mindfulness. I work with clients struggling with depression, anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, gender identity, relationship issues, and new life transitions. I graduated from Drexel University in 2010 with a Master’s Degree in Counseling and Creative Arts in Therapy. I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2014 and have been working in the mental health community for over 8 years. I am also a Board-Certified Movement Therapist. This background allows me to use body movement in traditional psychotherapy sessions for grounding, relaxation, and mindfulness purposes when appropriate.
